Service Description
Our Reflexology therapy is a complementary health practice that involves applying targeted pressure to specific points on the feet to promote relaxation and well-being. Unlike a standard massage that kneads muscles and soft tissue, reflexology uses thumb and finger pressure on precise reflex points. Pre Treatment Wear comfortable clothing: Choose loose, non-restrictive pants or shorts that roll up easily so the therapist can access your lower legs, ankles, and feet. Eat a light snack: Avoid heavy or greasy meals right before your visit, but have a light bite so you do not feel light-headed. Hydrate: Drink plenty of water in the hours leading up to your appointment to help your body process the treatment. Skip stimulants and alcohol: Avoid coffee, energy drinks, and alcohol, as they can interfere with your body's ability to relax. Post Treatment Hydrate: Sip extra water or herbal tea throughout the day to help flush out released toxins. Rest: Take it easy for the rest of the day and avoid heavy physical or mental tasks. Eat Lightly: Choose simple, nourishing foods like soups, fresh vegetables, or fruit instead of heavy meals. Wear Comfortable Shoes: Keep your feet in soft, breathable, and loose-fitting footwear. Recommendation General wellbeing and maintenance: Schedule sessions 1 to 2 times per month to maintain relaxation and preventative care. Maximum interval: Try not to wait longer than 4 to 6 weeks between sessions, or your body may lose the cumulative benefits. Liability Wavier Our services, treatments, supplements and detox programs are for the sole purpose of relaxation, selfcare and general wellness. Nirvana does not perform physical therapy, diagnose, treat or prescribe medical treatments or pharmaceuticals for any physical illness. Please consult your primary health care provider before booking an appointment with us. Nirvana Health Spa Detox Centre and Natural Health Store/Nirvana Natural Health Clinic shall not be held liable for any health issues that may arise during or after any visit with us.
Cancellation Policy
No refund of any deposit for booking cancelation 18 hours before schedule treatment. If the full amount was paid, you will be charge a cancelation fee of 50% from the treatment total amount for cancelation 18 hours before schedule treatment. Rescheduling of your appointment can be done up to 6 hours before your appointment start time. Same day cancelation or no shows when redeeming your gift certificate will deem your gift certificate no longer valid. Please arrive 15 mins before your scheduled treatment so that your service can start on time. While we would like to accommodate everyone, arriving more than 15 mins late may result in you service time being shorten or the appointment being labeled as no show. Because a spa is a place for relaxation, no small children are allowed unless they are having a service. Animals, smoking and fowl language is also not allowed.
