Pre massage Before a massage therapy session, drink plenty of water to hydrate your muscles, eat only a light snack or small meal, and shower for good hygiene. Arrive a few minutes early, use the restroom, and be ready to share any health updates with your therapist. Post Massage After massage therapy, you should drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and remove toxins, rest your muscles by avoiding heavy exercise for 24 hours, and eat light, nourishing foods. Recommendation. For muscle health, once every 2 to 4 weeks for general maintenance. For high stress and mild tension relief, every 1 to 2 weeks Massage Contraindicators Total Contraindications (Avoid Entire Massage) Fever or acute illness: Body temperature over 100.4°F (38°C) or active contagious diseases like the flu. Blood clots and deep vein thrombosis (DVT): Risk of dislodging a clot into the bloodstream. Severe cardiovascular issues: Uncontrolled high blood pressure, recent heart attack, or unstable angina. Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule your appointment please do so on www.nirvana.gd or contact us on 14734187115 No refund of any deposit for booking cancelation 18 hours to 2 hour before schedule treatment. If the full amount was paid, you will be charge a cancelation fee of 50% from the treatment total amount for cancelation 18 hours to 2 hour before schedule treatment. There will be no refund of any kind for cancelation or rescheduling less that 2 hour before schedule time. Same day cancelation or no shows when redeeming your gift certificate will deem your gift certificate no longer valid. Please arrive 15 mins before your scheduled treatment so that your service can start on time. While we would like to accommodate everyone, arriving more than 15 mins late may result in you service time being shorten or the appointment being labeled as no show. Because a spa is a place for relaxation, no small children are allowed unless they are having a service. Animals, smoking and fowl language is also not allowed. Once you have arrival and your treatment has started, there will be no refund for any treatment. There will also be no refund on unused membership and payment plan and unattended courses.
