Massage Contraindication Fever or acute illness: Body temperature over 100.4°F (38°C) or active contagious diseases like the flu. Blood clots and deep vein thrombosis (DVT): Risk of dislodging a clot into the bloodstream. Severe cardiovascular issues: Uncontrolled high blood pressure, recent heart attack, or unstable angina. Intoxication: Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Severe organ failure: Advanced kidney or liver failure Pregnancy: massage should only be done with a qualify pregnancy massage specialist. Local Contraindications (Avoid Specific Areas)Skin damage: Open wounds, cuts, severe abrasions, or active rashes. Infections and inflammation: Cellulitis, boils, or localized skin infections. Recent trauma: Fresh fractures, torn ligaments, or acute bruising. Circulatory issues: Varicose veins. Recent surgery sites: Healing surgical incisions or scars still tender or unhealed Pedicure Contraindication Fungal infections: Athlete's foot or ringworm on the skin or nails. Bacterial or viral issues: Active warts, verrucae, or pus-filled paronychia around the nail. Open skin damage: Fresh cuts, scrapes, blisters, or bleeding sores. Severe swelling: Recent foot or toe fractures and acute inflammation Chronic Diabetes or poor circulation: High risk of hidden injury or slow healing. Mild eczema or psoriasis: Skin can crack or react badly to strong chemicals. Nail lifting: Mild onycholysis where the nail separates from the bed Liability Wavier Our services, treatments, supplements and detox programs are for the sole purpose of relaxation, selfcare and general wellness. Nirvana does not perform physical therapy, diagnose, treat or prescribe medical treatments or pharmaceuticals for any physical illness. Please consult your primary health care provider before booking an appointment with us. Cancellation Policy
No refund of any deposit for booking cancelation 18 hours before schedule treatment. If the full amount was paid, you will be charge a cancelation fee of 50% from the treatment total amount for cancelation 18 hours before schedule treatment. Rescheduling of your appointment can be done up to 6 hours before your appointment start time. Same day cancelation or no shows when redeeming your gift certificate will deem your gift certificate no longer valid. Please arrive 15 mins before your scheduled treatment so that your service can start on time. While we would like to accommodate everyone, arriving more than 15 mins late may result in you service time being shorten or the appointment being labeled as no show. Because a spa is a place for relaxation, no small children are allowed unless they are having a service. Animals, smoking and fowl language is also not allowed.
