Service Description
Colonic Hydrotherapy also known as colonic irrigation is a procedure that involves flushing the large intestine with water. It a way to cleanse the colon by introducing water into the rectum to help remove waste and debris. Colonic can help with digestive health, bloating, constipation, and other digestive issues. It can also help to boost the immune system and detoxify the body. A disposable speculum/tube is inserted into the rectum and 3 stage filtrated warm water is gently pumped into the colon. The water helps to loosen and flush out waste, gas, and mucus. Pre Treatment To prepare for you treatment, drink plenty of water, eat light and healthy meals (such as fruits, vegetables, ginger/ peppermint teas and soups)12-24 hours before your appointment. Avoid heavy, greasy, or gassy foods, and stop eating 3 hours before your appointment Post Treatment After your treatment, focus on gentle rehydration, eating simple and easily digestible foods like steamed vegetables, steam rice, fish and soups, 1 week probiotics will be provided to support your gut flora. Avoid heavy exercise, raw foods/ vegetables, alcohol, and caffeine for 48 to 72 hours. Recommendation: Preventatively 1 to 2 times yearly Therapeutically: 1 treatment per month for 3 months (Ask about our full body cleanse) Contraindication of Treatment Gastrointestinal diseases: Active Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, acute diverticulitis, or severe gastrointestinal bleeding/hemorrhage. Recent surgeries: Recent abdominal, pelvic, or bowel operations. Structural weaknesses: Abdominal or inguinal hernias, and intestinal perforations. Anorectal conditions: Severely inflamed or bleeding hemorrhoids, anal fissures, or fistulas. Systemic and organ failure: Severe congestive heart failure, other severe heart diseases, kidney failure, or liver cirrhosis. Pregnancy: Generally advised against during all trimesters due to risks of stimulating uterine contractions. Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule your appointment please do so on www.nirvana.gd or contact us on 14734187115 No refund of any deposit for booking cancelation 18 hours to 2 hour before schedule treatment. If the full amount was paid, you will be charge a cancelation fee of 50% from the treatment total amount for cancelation 18 hours to 2 hour before schedule treatment. There will be no refund of any kind for cancelation or rescheduling less that 2 hour before schedule time. Same day cancelation or no shows when redeeming your gift certificate will deem your gift certificate no longer valid. Please arrive 15 mins before your scheduled treatment so that your service can start on time. While we would like to accommodate everyone, arriving more than 15 mins late may result in you service time being shorten or the appointment being labeled as no show. Because a spa is a place for relaxation, no small children are allowed unless they are having a service. Animals, smoking and fowl language is also not allowed. Once you have arrival and your treatment has started, there will be no refund for any treatment. There will also be no refund on unused membership and payment plan and unattended courses.
